After perusing Blog land for the year and discovering all the amazing Blogs (sewing blogs in particular) I was really keen to join a sew along.
I came across this one on SarahLizSewStyle, Sew a garment a month challenge.
Starting in October I thought great should be able to do this.......didn't factor in the two week school holidays that happen at the start of October in New Zealand and that I was lucky enough to go to WOW (World of Wearable Arts) for a weekend in Wellington.
So have just started my challenge as well.
I have decided to sew Burda pattern 8075.
I would say I am an Advanced Beginner when it comes to sewing so I am hoping this turns out ok.
I cut my first muslin out tonight, I will need to make a FBA so am back to the drawing board on the pattern tonight.
This being my first sew along I thought I 'd start a Blog to document my "adventure"
